why can't they stay dead?

A weekend of adventures and beers... another trip to see Batman on IMAX Friday evening, it still rocks and will be in the top three movies of the summer, if not number one; a trip Saturday afternoon to a charity auction which turned out to be in a pub, and turned out to have a free drink ticket attached to each admission ticket. I luckily sat with a group of folks who were kind enough to not be drinking that day and passed me all their free drinks. I ended up wasted by 2:30 in the afternoon and gained a new nickname and a great kayaking lessons package. I drank enough that I was starting to have trouble speaking, so a friend drove me back to his place where he kindly let me sober up while we watched Trailer Park Boys. What a fun day. Sunday was a trip to roomie's cottage while he worked on the boat and while I sat and relaxed and watched some ducklings follow mom around the harbour. To be honest , I did do a little bit of work, but not enough to actually mention it. But I just mentioned it, so there it is. The evening was more Trailer Park Boys and a trip to a drag show and more beer. The drag show was great, though having to work in the morning put a damper on getting loaded and forced an early retreat into the night. And then after all this fun, peskiness showed up and the dead returned to life just to irk me. There are some people that seem to disappear and just when you think you'll never hear from them again... *POP* they rear their ugly heads and show up out of the blue. Le sigh. Someone that no matter how long it's been, always comes back and asks the same ridiculous questions they did last time about topics that are of absolutely no interest to me and have no relevance to me other than the fact that I know it involved said pesky person some 15 years ago or more... yeesh. For fuck sake, can't these people just die and stay dead... where's their sense of decency. I've had some people tell me I shouldn't say such things because if it ever happened I'd feel terrible. In this case, no... I wouldn't. Pine box express, bring it on. ;p
