the dark knight

With some trepidation I walked into the IMAX theatre and scrambled along with a friend to find a seat. Tickets bought early in the day and standing in line an extra 30 minutes paid off; fucking fantastic seats on opening night. But would it be worth it. Will it be good or not...

For the first time in ages I walked out of a movie speechless. I was impressed. Batman Begins blew me away. I was hoping for something really enjoyable, but I was skeptical in the weeks leading up to the release. Fortunately, it surpassed any expectation I could have had and I thought it was fantastic; the best movie I've seen in a long time. There have been some great movies the past few years, but for a comic book nerd, computer geek, online gamer... this was THE shiznit.

I'm not embarrassed to say "wow" many times as I walked to the car. I'm a big fan of the original Batman done by Tim Burton and a bit of a critic of the ones that followed it. While I can't say I'll give one or the other the crown, I have to admit that this one is pretty much the favourite at this point. I've watched the other Batman over 30 times, so I've had a better chance to critique it, so I guess I'll with-hold judgement until I've had the chance for more viewings, but all I can see is go see it. You'll enjoy it.

GO SEE THE FUCKING MOVIE RIGHT NOW THIS VERY INSTANT!!! ;)

An added bonus was the two cute guys that sat down beside us. The one beside me kept brushing against my arm, and whether he was conscious of it or not, he was hot and I was turned on. It didn't distract me from the movie for one second, but I have to say it was an added bonus to an already great night. The car ride home consisted of chatting about the fantabulous movie and the fantabulous bois.

Awesome movie, hot bois, and I had peanut M&Ms. Talk about paradise... :)
