A while back I had to work in Truro and on the way home I spotted a wind turbine off in the distance. Well, I was enraptured immediately.
Some folks say they are ugly, eyesores and ruin the landscape of areas... I personally find them both fascainating and beautiful.
Since I had a rental car that day with free milage, I decided to explore. I hopped on a backroad that I'd never travelled and went off to find the turbine. It ended uop being east of a little town called Brookfield.
I drove up as close as I could, very close to the base. It was really neat to watch it work. All by itself in the middle of nowhere, helping power something or other.
What will things be like in 100 years?
